Boyfriend jeans are everywhere, but good ones are hard to find...especially when you're short...kinda like real boyfriends, I guess? A good way to tell whether they're right for you is if they fit both the waist and hip comfortably - wearing them "relaxed", aka lower, is essential to pulling off The Look. Being able to cuff them is also important, because when you're short, long and sort-of baggy looks odd and sort-of daggy. The next thing to look out for is colour. Acid wash works for some, but it's just not for me. I opted for classic blue, but almost any colour works. Except white...but that's another personal preference. I sit on the ground too often to warrant white pants.
