Tomorrow heralds the first day of Summer, and we absolutely cannot WAIT. With the Christmas holidays and New Years Eve fast approaching, we thought we would put together a little packing guide with our favourite Summer must-haves for all your luxurious travel plans. We've even gone ahead and picked the ultimate destinations for you too - there's no harm in a little forward-planning!

Look #1: Black Mamba

Holiday destination: The Bale, Nusa Dua What to pack: IYA Australia Cloud two-piece bikini, Diptyque candle in Baies, Lack of Color hat, Honey Bronze, Body Shop argan oil body butter, St Tropez, Illesteva Leonard sunglasses in bamboo, Benah cuff, Kester Black nail polish in Snapdragon, Russh magazine. Who to go with: definitely some kind of...lover. (Ugh, that word always bums me out unless it's between the words "meat" and "pizza" - Liz Lemon)

Look #2: Diamond Eyes

Holiday destination: The Santai, Seminyak What to pack: Opening Ceremony clutch, Gorman bikini top, Vogue Australia, Grown Alchemist Cleanser & Exfoliator, Mr Smith shampoo, Rubi eyeshadow palette, Reality (at David Jones) sunglasses. Who to go with: a bunch of your best gal pals who will be up for some serious pamper time.

Look #3: Sun kissed

Holiday destination: Chandra Luxury Bali villas, Seminyak What to pack: Gorman bikini, Witchery straw hat, Frends headphones, Le Specs sunglasses, Stila illiuminating cream, Body Shop lip balm, Frank body scrub, Body Shop argan oil bubble bath. Who to go with: roomy villas with your own private pool means so much room for activities! Rally a big group of friends, the more the merrier.

With every beach holiday, whether you're camping or living it up in a private villa, there are some things you definitely have to pack: Some shades, sunscreen and a beach towel. We've omitted the  last two because they're a given, but don't leave them behind! Lobster is great for dinner, but not so much when you're looking back at one in the mirror.

And now that you're well equipped for your luxurious getaway in Bali, what can one get up to while holidaying at this dream destination? Well Bali is one of those places that caters for every interest and personal tastes. Want to get your dancing shoes on and let you hair down? Feeling adventurous with lots of energy to burn? Or wanting to wind down and spend some time getting in touch with nature and your inner-self? It can all be experienced in Bali, even in the one day for those who are extremely time poor. Follow our 12-hour guide for a fast-tracked Bali experience:

9am: Wake up in complete serenity while staying at one of The Luxe Nomad's stunning villas. Mosey on down to the on-site restaurant and treat yourself to some breakkie reminiscent of  the dishes Darota would prepare for Blair Waldorf, think buttery croissants and exotic fresh fruit salad.

11am: As much as you would like to plonk yourself next to the infinity pool and move around as much as a beached whale, you're in Bali goddammit and there are plenty of things to do and see! So start your morning with a rejuvenating yoga class on the beach (your friendly concierge will be able to help arrange this), centre yourself and clear your mind for the busy day ahead. Namaste.

1pm: A trip to Bali wouldn't be complete without experiencing the culturally rich aspect of the island. Travel to Ubud and soak in the heart and soul of Balinese culture with a visit to a number of temples in the area including the iconic Elephant Cave. After this, take in the stunning sights at the Tegalaland Rice Terrace.

3pm: Head on down to the Elephant Safari Park, make like The Jungle Book and explore the scenic Balinese countryside upon the back of these magnificent creatures.

4pm: Bali offers some fantastic (and affordable) shopping with many local crafts and also a number of Australian designer based in Seminyak. Bag yourself some bargains from Tigerlily, Shakuhachi & Mr Zimi.

6pm: Gorge yourself on the freshest of the fresh seafood with a number of seafood BBQ restaurants operating literally on the beach. Pick your seafood and have it brought to you while you watch a very Instagram worthy sunset #nofilter.

9pm: It's happy hour! Time to put your feet up and take in the beautiful surroundings at Bali's 'IT' beach club, Potato Head. Oh trust us, you want to be seen here. Located in Seminyak, it's a nice change of pace from the more touristy hotspots in town that often attract more...well let's just say unsavoury types.
