THE WAITING GAME

You may have noticed my absence on Instagram and also the blog lately...or not, whatever! We good. I've been busy growing a human, as you do, and therefore have been a basket case of emotions. You honestly couldn't count on me for anything in the past 8 months. Luckily you could count on Kat - my lifesaver and the person basically keeping Two Halves afloat. Here's to you, bb girl.

Anyway, I've gotten to the stage where I've had to pack a hospital bag, and since I'm still me and want nice pretty/cool things ("I'm not a regular mom, I'm a cool mom!"), my hospital bag is of course a Herschel Supply denim duffle from Glue. I added the new Stan Smiths as a "Sorry-your-feet-are-swollen" present to myself.

While I was packing away all the cute little bits for the baby - organic goat milk baby range from el8te, beanies with ears -  and all the practical stuff for myself - clean underwear, ugly but comfortable robe - Swift decided he wanted to help so we had a little impromptu photo shoot.

As of writing, I am 36 weeks + 1 day. By next Wednesday I'll be considered full term and the baby could drop at any given moment. Scary and exciting times are ahead. Luckily I'm prepared!
