WARDROBE MATHEMATICS

I find myself mentally pairing up everything in my wardrobe to justify how much it cost to obtain. There are some pieces that you want to be able to wear from day to night and weekday to weekend, so I've compiled some outfit inspirations based on the "cost-per-wear" theory.
Cost-per-wear = purchase price ($) divided by number of times worn (x)
ASOS leather quilted clutch and Gianvito Rossi heels, paired with (left) Jason Wu tweed dress, (right) Topshop top and M Missoni skirt.
Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse, worn with (left) Michael Kors trousers, Rachael Ruddick tote and 3.1 Phillip Lim flats; (right) Gorman denim, Alexander Wang duffle, Topshop heels
Alexander Wang bag & Alice + Olivia heels worn with (left) Burberry Brit shirt, Theysken's Theory blazer, Paige denim; (right) River Island dress
Mary Katrantzou tee, Rebecca Minkoff bag & Asos heels worn with (left) Acne blazer and Karl Lagerfeld pants; (right) Malene Birger skirt
