WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK

desk2.jpg
As a graphic designer working from home, I have to make sure the working space is separate to the living space. Surrounding myself with pretty things helps because sometimes work can be dull...your sister will only want to Skype you every so often. Luckily, a thing like Notemaker exists and since I only shop online AND I love stationery, it's kind of perfect.

My typical desk instruments:
- The desk I picked up from TradeMe for $20

- Kikki.K 2013 diary, to keep track of paid invoices, trips, etc.
- O-Check wooden box to hold various cords and wires
- O-Check deer friend because it's lonely working from home
- Pantone mug in Yellow
- A nice, thick cookbook to elevate said iMac
- A jar of Staedtler felt-tip pens
- Freesias from the local shop, in a recycled Antipodes bottle
- Green is my favourite colour, hence the green tack
- Washi tape in candy stripe, and Pantone's 2013 Colour of the Year, no less!
- Wacom tablet and pen (no mouse, which gives me a wicked finger bunion. TMI?)
- Pin + whiteboard combo, with white drawing pins
Stay tuned for a Notemaker giveaway! We'll be giving away some of our favourite things...maybe even some of the things you see here...!
